Dr Liza Vergara, Clinical Research Associate

Liza Vergara joined the Australasian Kidney Trials Network in April 2009 and currently is the Clinical Research Associate for BLOCADE and HONEYPOT trials. Liza received her PhD in Science from QUT in 1999. Prior to her PhD studies, she has worked on population genetics research mainly on population bottlenecks, selection and conservation using fish as a model. After her postgraduate study, her family moved to Singapore in 2000 where she was involved in breast cancer research using microarrays and had worked as a Lab Manager in Genome Institute of Singapore from 2002-2005.
